Nearly 240 enterprises from Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province attended the third phase of the 137th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from May 1 to 5.

Among these participants, home textile enterprises took the lead with 216 booths, followed by 61 booths for sports and leisure goods and 35 booths for textile materials.

Nantong exhibitors introduced some innovative products at the fair. Nantong Victor Sports Goods, for example, showcased its latest luminous light bulbs; Nantong Liveup Sports launched self-owned sports brand "bloom"; and Nantong Longdu Home Textile, as an internationally renowned supplier, received attention for its innovative custom fabric products. "On the first day, we received inquiries from over 50 groups of customers from countries such as Japan, South Korea, and India, many of whom have expressed tentative interest in cooperation," said Shi Jiawei from Longdu.

To help companies expand their market presence, the Nantong municipal bureau of commerce organized several specialized training sessions before the event and guided companies to simultaneously display 1,935 exhibits on the event's official website.
