The official travel platform in Nantong, "Changxing Nantong", has recently completed systematic integration with its Shanghai counterpart "Suishenxing", enabling the interconnection of the public transport platforms between the two cities.
Residents of both cities no longer need to download a new app when traveling to the other city. They can switch between transportation options using their existing city travel platforms. For example, Nantong residents arriving in Shanghai can access public transportation using the "Suishenxing" through the "Changxing Nantong" app, and vice versa.
In conjunction with the opening of the Yuanmingyuan Animal Head and Overseas Repatriated Cultural Relics Special Exhibition at Nantong Art Museum, a special bus route connecting Shanghai and Nantong has been launched for cultural enthusiasts in Shanghai and will operate until May 5.
On weekends and holidays, the buses will depart from designated locations at People's Square and Pudong Century Avenue, providing direct service to the Nantong Art Museum.
After visiting the Nantong Art Museum, Shanghai residents can switch to the "Nantong Transport One-Code Pass" using the "Suishenxing" app. They can simply scan the code to access Nantong's public transportation, making it easy to explore local attractions. The app also provides real-time location updates for Nantong's metro, along with information on the first and last train times, enhancing the overall travel experience.
