Qidong, Nantong, will host a spring tourism festival on March 29, with early access to the Yuantuojiao Resort beginning on March 22. The Flower Field Art Festival in the resort, running until April 6, will showcase 500,000 tulips from the Netherlands across a spectacular 11,000-square-meter floral sea, featuring multiple rare varieties.

A major highlight this year is the new water attraction, where twelve hanfu-clad "Flower Fairies" will glide along the river beside the tulip fields. Adorned with floral hairpins and flowing robes, these performers will enchant visitors with elegant dances and interactive performances throughout the festival.

For nature lovers, the venue offers a camping zone, where visitors can set up tents or relax under canopies while soaking in the fragrant tulip fields. A giant Dutch windmill adds to the scenic charm.

On March 29, the opening day will feature a pingtan performance, blending traditional storytelling and music. A heritage market will also debut, showcasing local crafts such as blue calico printing and Qidong reed weaving, inviting visitors to experience artisanal craftsmanship.
