In recent years, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) has focused on developing three key industries—automotive and components, new-generation information technology, and intelligent equipment. By continuously enhancing its business environment, the zone has become a prime destination for top-tier listed companies.

To date, NHIZ has attracted investments from over 50 domestic and international listed companies, placing it among the top industrial parks in Nantong.

To further support businesses and encourage more companies to go public, NHIZ has been upgrading its infrastructure and expanding innovation platforms. The park has established notable institutions such as the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Nantong Advanced Technology Research Institute, Hongjin New Materials Research (Nantong) Co Ltd, and the National Bedding Inspection and Testing Center.

Anticipating industry-specific needs, NHIZ has also developed specialized facilities to streamline operations for businesses. For example, integrated circuit companies generate wastewater during production that requires centralized treatment. Instead of requiring companies to build their own costly and space-consuming treatment facilities, the park provides a dedicated wastewater treatment plant, significantly improving efficiency for these enterprises.

In addition to infrastructure, NHIZ prioritizes professional development for companies. Since the start of the year, the park has helped 28 companies to achieve national, provincial, and municipal designations. It has also provided smart transformation services for 78 businesses, including free digitalization diagnostics, and supported several companies in accessing capital markets.
