On Sept 23, an Indonesian vessel successfully docked at the F1 berth of Yangkou Port. Carrying 11,500 metric tons of pulp, the vessel supplied key raw materials for Gold Hongye Paper, which produces tissues at the port.

Together with other four vessels which had already berthed at terminals G3, G4, and G5, as well as the PetroChina Jiangsu LNG terminal, this marked the first time five foreign vessels unloaded at the port on the same day.

While the Indonesian vessel is expected to complete unloading within 48 hours, the other vessels have already begun offloading 25,000 tons of paraxylene, which is being transferred to Jiangsu Jiatong Energy's production facilities through a pipeline system.

Since the beginning of the year, Yangkou Port's five berths have handled 312 vessels, including 46 foreign vessels, with a total throughput of approximately 2.88 million tons. The PetroChina Jiangsu LNG Terminal alone has received 61 ships this year, supplying around 30 percent of Jiangsu's natural gas and showcasing the port's vital role in supporting regional energy demands and economic growth.
