Nonglin village in Hai'an has successfully integrated agriculture, industry, and tourism to boost its village economy. In 2023, the village achieved an income of 2.6 million yuan ($368,520.29), and it is expected to surpass 2.9 million yuan this year.

According to Ji Peng, deputy Party secretary of Nonglin village, the village has only 133 hectares of farmland primarily used for grain cultivation. To maximize yields, the village promotes large-scale, mechanized, and eco-friendly farming.

Nonglin village is home to 14 large-scale enterprises, forming a modern industrial park. Jiangsu Yuheng Electric, established in 2019, employs 170 people, 30 percent of whom are from surrounding rural areas. The company, a leading manufacturer of electromagnetic wire, has an annual output value of 1.3 billion yuan, with its products widely used in transformers, motors, and new energy systems.

In addition to its industrial growth, Nonglin village prioritizes environmental protection and rural vitalization, with significant investments in infrastructure, road hardening, greening, and sewage treatment.
