Cross-border e-commerce exhibition concludes in Nantong

The three-day 2024 Nantong Cross-Border E-Commerce Selection Exhibition concluded on Sept 7, drawing about 11,000 exhibition-goers.
Covering an area of 14,000 square meters, the exhibition boasts eight themed zones for special industries, service suppliers, overseas warehouses, leading e-commerce platforms, and job fairs with 525 booths.
The event saw the participation of 64 e-commerce platforms and service institutions, including leading cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba, offering participating enterprises guidance on product selection, logistics, warehouse, and cross-border payment.
The successful organization of this selection exhibition is conducive to strengthening the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem in Nantong and broadening enterprise export channels in the realm of cross-border e-commerce.
Participating companies and buyers alike have expressed high praise for the event. A representative of the purchasing delegation from Hangzhou shared that their nine participants have found cooperative enterprises at the event and expect long-term relations with Nantong.
Nantong has coordinated the development of cross-border e-commerce with local industries since this year through improved and precise services. The city has established seven municipal cross-border e-commerce industrial parks and four clustering zones, assembling over 250 cross-border e-commerce businesses.
A representative from the Nantong municipal bureau of commerce noted that local authorities are committed to enhancing the administrative efficiency of cross-border e-commerce. They also aim to foster and attract cross-border e-commerce service providers to establish the city as a prominent cross-border e-commerce trading and distribution hub, renowned both within the province and the nation.
