Qidong epeeist poised for Paris Olympics

Born in 1998 in Qidong, Nantong, Xu Nuo, a member of the Chinese Women's Epee Team, is set to take part in the Paris Olympics, which run from July 26 to Aug 11.
Xu began her fencing training in 2010 and joined the Jiangsu provincial fencing team in 2016. She is currently a member of the national team. Known for her strong sense of rhythm in both offense and defense, Xu has clinched numerous medals in various domestic and international competitions.
The Chinese Women's Epee Team, with Xu and her teammates, recently secured the runner-up position at the 2023 FIE Women's Epee World Cup (Nanjing). The Nanjing stop was the final qualifying event for the Olympics, and the Chinese team was ultimately able to secure a spot at the Paris Olympics. Xu will participate as a substitute player in the team event.
