On July 13, experts and scholars from the integrated circuit industry in Wuxi, Wuhan, and other regions gathered in Rudong to explore new trends and opportunities.

At the event, agreements were signed for four projects: one involving the production of high-purity water equipment for semiconductors, one involving the R&D and manufacturing of semiconductor equipment, one involving semiconductor packaging and testing equipment, and the last involving touchscreens for artificial intelligence terminals.

Cai Dong, a member of the CPC Rudong standing committee, introduced policies aimed at promoting the semiconductor industry's development in Rudong. He noted that over the past three years, Rudong has climbed 11 places in the ranking of China's top counties and has attracted over 40 enterprises in the semiconductor industrial chain.

The Rudong Economic Development Zone is home to a surface treatment center approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. This center includes an independent sewage treatment plant with a daily processing capacity of 10,000 metric tons, meeting the electroplating needs of enterprises in electronics, semiconductors, and automotive parts.

Additionally, the Xiaoyangkou Chemical Industrial Park offers crucial support for the semiconductor industry, capable of hosting projects related to photoresists, etching solutions, stripping solutions, adhesives, and cleaning agents.
