Nantong Jianghai talent entrepreneurship week concludes

The 14th China Nantong Jianghai Talent Entrepreneurship Week concluded with fruitful results in Nantong on July 17.
This event served as a platform for young entrepreneurs to show off their innovation and projects and for businesses to attract more talents.
It witnessed the signing of agreements of intent on the location of 552 projects and 234 high-quality scientific and technological talent projects in Nantong with a combined investment of 852 million yuan ($117.36 million), as well as the initiation of 363 industry-university-research cooperation projects worth over 170 million in total.
The projects involve the domains of high-end manufacturing, new energy, new materials, biological medicine, life sciences, and new-generation information technology. They are expected to propel the upgrading of the city's traditional industries, growth of emerging industries, and cultivation of future industries.
During the event, Nantong also invited over 7,900 university students from home and abroad to learn about local industries, culture, history, and natural environment, invited academicians to share their insights into the development of marine, computing, and general artificial intelligence industries, and hosted 24 online and onsite job fairs with 1,681 companies providing 36,443 jobs.
