Haimen, Lingang Group partner in industrial innovation, collaboration

The Haimen district government in Nantong and Shanghai-based Lingang Group inked a strategic cooperation agreement on June 27 to build the northern shore pilot area of the Yangtze River Estuary Industrial Innovation and Collaboration Zone.

Haimen and Shanghai are separated by the Yangtze River, and Haimen is actively working to integrate into the Shanghai metropolitan area.

According to the agreement, Haimen and Lingang Group will make full use of their advantages to enhance cooperation in port logistics, city renewal, commercial facilities, innovative development, industrial services, and other domains.

The group is expected to bring high-quality projects, capital, and talent to the district.

Guo Xiaomin, Party secretary of Haimen, said at the signing ceremony that Haimen will offer Lingang Group comprehensive services to bolster the development of the Yangtze River Estuary Industrial Innovation and Collaboration Zone.

Gong Wei, vice-chairman of Lingang Group, noted that Haimen boasts robust development momentum and efficient administrative services and that the group will promote the implementation of the agreement as soon as possible.

Lingang Group is a Stated-owned company mainly involved in the development of industrial parks, enterprise services, and industrial investment. The industrial parks under the group currently host 16,000 domestic and foreign enterprises.
