In pursuit of the effective implementation of the rural vitalization strategy, Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province has introduced a range of new products that deeply integrate agriculture, culture, and tourism.

One of these innovative products is the Shigang Library, located in Shigang town, which was transformed from a disused garage. The library features lending areas, reading spaces, electronic reading zones, an indoor children's activity area, and outdoor leisure areas including a second-floor platform and a lawn activity zone.

Since its opening in September 2023, the library has attracted numerous reading enthusiasts, with an average monthly footfall of over 1,000 visitors. Additionally, the library hosts various themed activities, having become a prominent attraction and popular spot for social media check-ins in Shigang town.

The Happy Countryside Ecological Farm, situated in Xinqiao village, Dongshe town, has become a favored destination for day trips among visitors exploring the rural, cultural, and tourism offerings in the surrounding areas, welcoming over 10,000 guests annually.

The farm combines leisure sightseeing, organic agricultural product displays and sales, and DIY dining experiences. It also regularly organizes themed events such as parent-child reading sessions, yoga classes, cherry festivals, autumn harvest cultural celebrations, and farming experiences.

The farm's best-selling products include grass-fed chicken, eggs, organic rice, and organic vegetables. By promoting a blend of culture and agriculture, the farm has become a top choice for leisure travelers and tourists in the region.
