Qidong promotes tourism in Shanghai with a showcase of culture and nature
On April 27, Qidong went to Shanghai to promote its unique cultural charm and natural beauty, captivating the people of Shanghai.

The event began with an array of performances, including songs, dances, traditional pingtan storytelling, a blue-print cloth fashion show, and an erhu ensemble.

An exhibition was also held to highlight the city's cultural and tourism brands and other unique features. Products like yellow rice wine, seafood, and blue-print cloth attracted many visitors who stopped by to taste and admire these local specialties. World-renowned Qidong woodblock prints and handcrafted reed products also showcased the creativity and craftsmanship of Qidong's artisans.

To encourage weekend trips to Qidong, popular attractions such as Qitangcheng scenic area held a lottery to give away complimentary tickets to Shanghai residents.
