Priorities of NPC deputies, CPPCC members from Nantong

Nine deputies to the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and two members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from Nantong, Jiangsu province, are participating in the two sessions in Beijing from March 4 to 11.

Liu Hong, CPPCC member, vice-mayor of Nantong

Liu proposes the establishment of national industry parks in the Yangtze River Delta to develop silver economy. He also advocates for improvements in the network environment and restrictions on the use of electronic products by juveniles.

Liu Fan, NPC deputy, orthopedic professor at Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University

Liu calls for national authorities to put a premium on medical reform, particularly nationwide measures. He believes that certain issues within the medical system cannot be solved by a specific hospital or local authorities.
