Lanqiao Homestay is quite eye-catching among rows of old residential buildings in Yudong town, Haimen district, Nantong.

The homestay has 15 guestrooms with different decoration styles. The 10 guestrooms on the third floor seem quite modern while the fourth floor has single rooms with thatched roofs, suites with three bedrooms and two living rooms, a tearoom, and balconies.

In addition to an open kitchen and dining room, Lanqiao provides its guests with other options such as private rooms.

With complete facilities, Lanqiao is suitable for business conferences, team building, parties, or family trips.

The owner Cui Honglin is also trying to create a countryside feeling for his homestay. He decorated the house with the shoulder poles used by his grandpa as well as sorghum tassels and corns harvested from local farmland.

Cui also plans to grow some climbing plants such as guards, which will not only add some green touches to the building but also bring some fun time for the kids living in the homestay with their fruits.
