Nantong adds six 3A-level attractions

Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province is home to six more 3A-level tourist attractions with the highest ranked at the 5A level in the country.

Wei Jiangong Memorial Hall in Hai'an was built to commemorate Wei Jiangong (1901-80), who is known as the "father of the Xinhua Dictionary". The memorial hall features information on Wei's life and academic achievements and some of his academic works and possessions.

Guoqing Temple Ruins Park in Rudong was established based on the ancient Guoqing Temple. Founded by the eminent monk Xingman of the Tendai Sect in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the temple has a history of more than 1,200 years.

The Qitang Immersive Amusement Park in Qidong showcases the culture of the Tang Dynasty in all aspects and includes more than 1,000 varieties of props and costumes to help visitors experience the dynasty's prosperity.

The Nantong Urban Agricultural Park covers an area of 2,400 hectares and consists of the Nantong Forest Safari Park in the south and 27,000-mu farmland in the north.

Longxin Plaza features Jianghai Culture and buildings following the style of the Republic of China (1912-49). The commercial block is composed of four streets themed on intangible culture, e-sports, family entertainment, and hotels.

Covering an area of 93.33 hectares, Zhouji Menghuan Island is the best place for flowers and it has scenic spots themed on wisteria sinensis, peach blossoms, plum blossoms, cherry blossoms and metasequoia.
