The main urban area of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province has constructed 15 river parks this year, providing more places for strolls by local residents.
River parks are the city's rivers that not only have the functions of flood control and drainage, but also serve as places for people to relax and exercise.

The Kuzigang River Park is one such new park. Covering an area of about 11,000 square meters, the park has 7,500 square meters of green space and two pathways along the Kuzigang River. Inside the green space, there is also a shaded footpath.

After it was put into use in July, the park has become the first choice of nearby residents for strolling, dancing, or playing with their children.
