Located in the easternmost part of East China's Jiangsu province, Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong is becoming a popular tourist resort by integrating coastal resources, cultural tourism and ecology.

The Golden Beach Scenic Area is a great place to watch the sunrise. During the May Day holiday, the Golden Beach received a record 80,000 visitors. There’s no better place to stroll along the beach while enjoying the wind and sea.

Located at Lianxing Port, one of the six major fishing ports in Qidong at the mouth of the Yangtze River, Fisherman's Wharf was renovated and transformed from a dilapidated port. The once heavily-polluted area has become a provincial-level tourism and leisure block. Many fishermen have opened their own shops, ensuring stable income from the tourism market.

To commemorate Dayu, the ancient hero who controlled the floods, Qidong built a 19.99-meter-high statue of him at Yuantuojiao Resort at the mouth of the Yangtze River in 1998. It has since become a popular park.

The most beautiful Jianghai scenic stretch in the resort starts from the Fisherman's Wharf along the Yangtze River embankment, heading east and north. Along the way, there are seasonal flower fields, tourist stations, and majestic views of the river and the sea.
