Tongzhou Zhongxiao Cultural Park

Built on the site of the ancestral house of General Lu Fengbin, Tongzhou Zhongxiao Cultural Park is the first national 3A-rated tourist attraction themed on "loyalty and filial piety." The park includes a multi-functional media and television room, a reading room, an exhibition hall for calligraphy works of 100 generals, corridors showcasing the culture of loyalty and filial piety in China, and more.

Since it started operating in 2020, the park has received more than 500,000 visitors and has been highly recognized by people from all walks of life.

Agricultural products with national recognition

As of the end of 2021, there were 61 agricultural products in Nantong with national recognition, including Haimen goats, Qidong green broad beans, Hai'an rice, Rudong clams, and Rugao white radish.

In 2021, the Nantong Hotel and Catering Chamber of Commerce and media outlets started a vote to select the top 10 dishes in Nantong.

The final list is as follows: stewed vegetables, seafood, and meat; stir-fried clams; stir-fried yellow croakers; braised Haimen mutton; braised Langshan Mountain chicken in brown sauce; stewed pufferfish; simmered Bengang razor clams; braised meatballs in brown sauce; Baipu fishballs filled with crab roe; stewed jellyfish and pork lungs.

2) Linzi rice cakes, which taste soft and refreshing;

6) Fried dumplings filled with sweet olive and red bean paste using wrappers made of flour and agastache rugosus;

10) Baipu tea-smoked bean curds, which are nutritious;

15) Haimen oyster porridge;

16) Nantong fried dumplings, which have crispy crusts and a tender filling.
