Qidong wind farms generate over 3 billion kWh of electricity
Offshore wind farms in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, have generated 3.01 billion kilowatt hours of electricity since they started operating, according to the Qidong development and reform commission.
The offshore wind farms generated 854 million kWh of electricity in the first four months of this year, up 38.65 percent year-on-year.
So far, Qidong has built three offshore wind farms and 134 fans with a total installed capacity of 800,000 kilowatts.
