Enterprise technology center bolsters innovative development in Rudong
The evaluation results of the technology centers of 40 enterprises from Rudong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province were recently released by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
According to the evaluation results, nine enterprises from Rudong, the most among all county-level cities in Nantong, were considered "excellent".
The provincial recognition is the result of Rudong's efforts to boost its innovation-driven development strategy in recent years.
For example, the county has launched policies rewarding national, provincial, and municipal technology centers in enterprises 500,000 yuan ($72,718), 200,000 yuan, and 100,000 yuan respectively.
In addition, technology centers rated as "excellent" will be rewarded 300,000 yuan, 100,000 yuan, and 50,000 respectively.
Due to the incentive measures, the innovation development in the county has made significant progress.
The county is currently home to one national enterprise technology center, 40 provincial ones, and 36 municipal ones.
Developing the enterprise technology center is an important step in boosting the innovation of enterprises.
Next, local authorities will strengthen guidance on building enterprise technology centers to boost high-quality industrial development in the county.
