Urban and rural new year's market fairs are now bustling with life in Rugao, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, as the Spring Festival approaches.

Residents are busy buying festive decorations such as red lanterns, Chinese knots, new year pictures and decorations with Chinese fu characters to welcome the annual grand festival.
