In 2012, the Rudong Junior Acrobatic Troupe staged a total of 105 shows during a 21-day activity organized by the Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese in Singapore to entertain local Chinese people during the Chinese New Year Festival.
Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met all members of the Rudong Junior Acrobatic Troupe and praised their skills.
He also noted that they serve as a cultural bridge between China and Singapore.
In 2018, the troupe received a standing ovation with the show Sea Star Flower, which portrays the hard-won success of acrobat Xiaoduo having impaired legs, in the Brandenburg State of Germany.
This year, the troupe won four awards at the 28th International Federation of Magic Societies World Championships of Magic, which took place in Canada from July 25 to 30.
The four awards were granted to the magic shows Paper Plane by Zhu Mingzhu and Moonlight Doves by Ding Yang, respectively.
