Chongchuan Bridge

Chongchuan Bridge, which spans the Tonglyu Canal in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, opened to traffic in 1999 and Nantong natives used to call it No 2 Bridge.

In 2020, the Nantong municipal government repaired the bridge. Measuring 48 meters in width, it features sidewalks for pedestrians to cross.

Stone balustrades on both sides of the bridge are decorated with sophisticated relief patterns, and there are two rows of ancient Chinese-style street lamps.
A wide variety of flowers have also been planted to embellish the bridge, and both sides of the canal near the bridge are beautified with lush trees, which are frequented by many locals after dinner time.

The bridge is also popular among fishing enthusiasts due to its serene atmosphere, and there is a basketball court beside the bridge.
