The groundbreaking ceremony for construction of the oil-free impeller machine industrial base of Xeca Turbo Clean Power (Rugao) Co Ltd was held on Sept 5 in Rugao, Nantong, East China's Zhejiang province.

The industrial base received a total of 300 million yuan ($43.11 million) in investment, covering an area of about 42 mu (2.8 hectares).

After being put into operation, it is expected to produce 50,000 fuel cell oil-free air compressors, compressed air energy storage compressors, air suspension refrigerant compressors and medical ventilators annually. Annual taxable sales are expected to reach 340 million yuan and tax payments are expected to reach 19 million yuan.

Xeca Turbo Clean Power (Rugao) Co Ltd has ranked first in the field of vehicle fuel cell air compressors for the past two years. It has been designated the Nantong Engineering Technology Research Center and Nantong Intelligent Workshop. This year, it was recognized as a "little giant" enterprise.

So far this year, agreements for 35 major projects worth more than 500 million yuan each have been signed in Rugao.
