The world's third largest semi-submerged ship "Huaruilong" was delivered in Haimen district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Aug 27, according to local media reports.

"Huaruilong" is an 80,000-ton semi-submersible ship built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co Ltd for the Guangzhou salvage bureau under the Ministry of Transport. It is currently the third largest semi-submersible ship in the world and the second largest in China.

The ship is 252 meters in length, 60 m in width, and 14.8 m in depth. It has a maximum speed of 15 knots and a 100,000-ton salvage capacity.

The ship is capable of loading and transporting large marine equipment, large ships and naval vessels. It will mainly be used to salvage large ships, military and civil ships, equipment and aerospace spacecraft in distress.
