Chengdong sub-district of Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, has been concentrating on the renovation of old residential communities and the introduction of enterprises and talent to boost its high-quality development.

This year, 105 residential buildings in Chengdong sub-district have been included in the renovation campaign.

All renovation projects in the sub-district will be completed by the end of November.

For example, 31 buildings in Yinhuayuan, an old residential community located in Chengdong, are included in the program, which is expected to benefit 1,036 residents.

"Thanks to the renovation campaign launched by the government, our living environment has improved," said Zou Guilin, a resident of the community for 27 years.

In addition, Chengdong has been optimizing its business environment in an effort to bring in more talent and enterprises. Customized services have been offered for key enterprises and investment projects by local authorities.
