The Golden Beach Scenic Area at the Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was designated a popular vocational area in the province in an evaluation launched by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

The Golden Beach Scenic Area covers an area of 2,700 mu (180 hectares) and is an ideal destination for viewing the sunrise.

The Golden Beach Scenic Area has prepared a series of summer activities, including digging for clams, watching sea lion performances, and taking the sightseeing train along the beach.

Tourists can also enjoy local sights while on an oxcart at the Golden Beach.
