Medicinal powder for skin diseases developed by generations of the Cao Family in Hai'an, Nantong, Jiangsu province, has been experiencing innovative development.
Cao Yongquan, the third generation member of the Cao Family after moving from Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, to Hai'an, used to be a medical worker for the East China Sea Fleet.

An accidental case inspired Cao to develop a more efficient medicinal liquid and powder for burns and scalds based on the prescription handed down from his ancestors, which cured chronic ulcers of navy soldiers.
With the newly-developed medicine, Cao volunteered to treat a variety of skin diseases for both soldiers and civilians.

Cao's daughter Cao Bin followed in his father's footsteps and became a doctor, bringing the most advanced theoretical achievements in traditional Chinese medicine in the world to the Cao Family's skin disease treatment and making improvements in medicinal powder for skin diseases.
