Rudong Junior Acrobatics Troupe wins four intl awards

The Rudong Junior Acrobatics Troupe in Rudong county, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, won four awards at the 28th International Federation of Magic Societies World Championships of Magic, which took place in Canada from July 25 to 30.

The magic shows Paper Plane by Zhu Mingzhu and Moonlight Doves by Ding Yang from the Rudong Junior Acrobatics Troupe both won awards at the world championships.

Zhu's performance made use of hundreds of colorful paper planes and more than 30 magic tricks, while Ding's performance was improved from her former work with fewer doves and more magic tricks.

Chen Yangyang and Sha Xuping from the Rudong Junior Acrobatics Troupe were invited to perform their magic show Ballet on the Shoulders to celebrate the successful hosting of the competition.

Founded in 1948, FISM is one of the most respected organizations in the world's magic community and currently has more than 80 member organizations and about 50,000 members from 50 countries and regions.

FISM organizes a worldwide magic convention every three years, with the most talented magicians from all over the world competing for the title of "World Magic Champion."

The event this year brought together nearly 2,000 magic enthusiasts and 110 competitors from around the world.
