Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province recently launched a cultural festival to welcome the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress.

The cultural festival is sponsored by Nantong municipal bureau of culture, broadcasting, television, and tourism, and organized by Nantong Cultural Center Union, Nantong Culture Center, and other local authorities.

During the festival, more than 1,000 activities, including art performances and art exhibitions, will be organized.

All the districts and counties in the city will organized various nighttime entertainment activities during the festival to enrich local residents' nightlife.

Car boot sales, a food festival, and an open-air country music festival will be found in Hai'an; tourists will enjoy discounts in buying local products in Rudong; firework shows will be offered in Qidong; nighttime tour of Liuxiban Streets will be available in Hai'men.

From August 5 to 14, Nantong will host the 2022 Nantong Beer Carnival, during which tourists can enjoy delicacies, tour car boot sales and admire the city's intangible cultural heritage items.
