Delectable peaches and grapes from the Nantong Urban Agricultural Park are currently being snapped up by eager buyers.
Covering an area of 36,000 mu (2,400 hectares), the park – located in northern Chongchuan district, the main urban area of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – has more than 2,500 peach trees.
In early July, the first batch of peaches, small in size and having a sweet taste, went on offer.
Now the fruit from the park can be purchased through a WeChat mini program, WeChat groups and e-commerce platforms. Peaches are priced at 20 yuan ($2.96) per kilogram.

In addition to the peaches, the grapes in the park are also hot sellers at the market. This year's yield of grapes in the park's greenhouse hit about 1,250 kilograms per mu.
With the help of organic fertilizer and improved soil, grapes from the park's greenhouse have always enjoyed a good reputation in the local market, attracting many customers to buy them in large quantities.
