Golden Beach Scenic Area at the Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has recently become a popular destination to escape the summer heat.

Groups of visitors come to the scenic spot to go swimming, dig for clams and pick shells from the sand.

Recently, the daily average number of visitors has reached nearly 10,000.
