Shenzhen Airlines signed an agreement to set up a branch in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area in East China's Jiangsu province on July 7.
According to the agreement, Shenzhen Airlines will also focus on nurturing more professionals and increase investments in its airline network and roll out new products and marketing services that will boost the high-quality development of Nantong.
Shenzhen Airlines is China's fifth largest airline and a member of Star Alliance. It boasts an extensive air route network and has more than 21,000 flights flying to over 1,300 destinations in more than 190 countries and regions around the world every day.
During the signing ceremony, Nantong mayor Wu Xinming expressed hope that Shenzhen Airlines will carry out more in-depth cooperation with Nantong to facilitate the city's transformation into a modern transportation hub. He added that Nantong will also make efforts to improve its business environment.
