Editor's note: Six themed travel routes in Qidong – a county-level city administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – were rolled out during the Qidong Cultural, Tourism and Food Consumption Season on June 11.

Answering the call for rural vitalization, Qidong has found a path to development balancing human beings and nature and it offers tourists wonderful views of countryside landscapes.

The travel route for countryside landscapes includes the following sites: Jiangtian Ecological Park, the Yinxiang Shadi rural resort, Daziran Ecotourism Resort, the Theresa Cathedral and Qidong Xincheng Agriculture Development Co Ltd.

Focusing on ecological development, Jiangtian Ecological Park is a green agricultural park offering visitors dining, accommodation, farm experiences, entertainment, agricultural culture displays and rural recreation and it is engaged in agricultural and sideline products processing.

Located in Huiping town in Qidong, the Yinxiang Shadi is a comprehensive leisure farm with dining facilities, accommodation, fishing, animal breeding and entertainment.

Daziran Ecotourism Resort is a comprehensive rural tourist attraction, which offers dining facilities, catering, accommodation, conferences, banquets, parent-child vacations, entertainment and sightseeing and it is also involved in the processing and sales of agricultural and sideline products.
