An aquarium started trial operations at the Golden Beach Scenic Area of the Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on June 9, according to local media reports.

During the trial operation period ending on June 16, the aquarium will offer free admissions to tourists.

The aquarium is located on the first floor of Binhai Square, next to the Sea Lion Performance Hall. It covers an area of 700 square meters and mainly showcases marine aquatic life and carries out popular science education.

In line with epidemic prevention and control measures, all tourists are required to wear masks and present their health codes and travel history. Tourists from outside Jiangsu province should provide negative nucleic acid test results from within 72 hours.
