Many public places, including scenic spots, in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, started reopening to the public on May 5, local media reported.

These public places include the Nantong Museum, Nantong Library, Nantong Cultural Center, Langshan National Forest Park, and Golden Beach scenic area.

Visitors are required to have their temperatures checked, present their ID cards, green health QR codes and travel codes, wear face masks, and show negative nucleic acid test results from within 72 hours before entering these public places.

Visitors without smart phones are required to present a printed copy of their green health QR codes and travel codes as well as their negative nucleic acid test result report from within 72 hours. They are also required to register their personal information.

As the number of visitors to these places will be capped at 50 percent of their maximum capacity, visitors are required to make a reservation before their visit, and after entering they must wear face masks at all times and observe social distancing.

These public places will not accept visitors with abnormal temperatures or who have a red or yellow health QR code, or who have an asterisk on their green travel QR code, or who cannot provide negative nucleic acid test results from within 72 hours.

Aside from locked-down and controlled zones, all areas in Nantong began resuming normal operations from May 5.
