The first mobile nucleic acid testing vehicle in Rudong county – administered by Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently went into use and with a maximum capacity of 10,000 tubes per day, it is expected to greatly boost the area's test capabilities.

In the vehicle there are rooms for reagent preparations, sample preparations, amplification analysis and decontaminations.

Moreover, there are also full-process functions for automated nucleic acid extractions, testing and analysis. What's more, the entire cabin is under negative pressure, to ensure the safety of test personnel and the environment.

In addition, the mobile facility can rapidly get to designated areas according to their actual needs, greatly reducing the transfer time for samples and providing strong support for Rudong's epidemic prevention and control efforts.
