A conference on business environment improvement was held on Feb 9 in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.

At the meeting, it was proposed that Chongchuan would upgrade its chief service officer (CSO) system and the Chongchuan Xing Qi Tong, a platform providing favorable services for enterprises, in addition to the municipal requirements for improving its business environment.

In 2021, over 110 million yuan ($17.4 million) of supporting funds were cashed through the Chongchuan Xing Qi Tong. This year, the platform will roll out 73 services that enterprises can directly access without an application as well as 53 items that firms can access quickly with a simple application, to simplify the process of reviews and fund disbursement.

In order to better serve the resident enterprises, Chongchuan will further optimize and upgrade its CSO system. Over 430 chief service officers get matched with the more than 500 companies in the district. Each CSO will help the corresponding firms to solve their problems in labor force, financing, administrative approval, and other aspects.
