The Nantong Textile Museum in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, hopes to return to its former glory by holding more exhibitions and activities, local media recently reported.
The ongoing ethnic costume exhibition, which is sponsored by the Chinese National Museum of Ethnology and Nantong Museum, will display over 200 exhibits from 24 ethnic groups until May 20.

In celebration of the Spring Festival, the museum will organize activities to admire the patterns on ethnic costumes and flower-shaped brooch knitting on Feb 6 and Feb 13, respectively.
On Feb 20, a training session on how to make paper storage bags will also be launched at the museum.
Founded in 1985, the Nantong Textile Museum is the first textile-themed museum in China that promotes science and has Jiangnan garden-style architecture.
