The big mascot and a number of tie-dyed tiger-shaped pendants made by the team will be presented to the children at the Nantong Welfare House. There, they will serve to wish its occupants a safe year, because in traditional Chinese culture, cloth tigers are put in places to express people's hopes to avert disasters and protect the safety of children.
