The Jianghuai Cultural Park in Hai'an, a county-level city administered by Nantong, was based on the appearance of the Fengshan Academy, where Hai'an natives were educated in ancient times.

Hai'an is where the Yangtze River system and Huaihe River system meet, and the city has gradually developed a unique Jianghuai culture that combines Yangtze River culture and Huaihe River culture.
The cultural park consists of five parts showcasing the history of Hai'an and the educational resources, culture, folk customs, and renowned figures of the city.
The highlight of the park is the Renowned Chinese Figure Museums, which includes 11 European-style buildings for 11 contemporary artists.
The Jianghuai Cultural Park is also a botanical garden as it houses numerous plantations, including an ancient camphor tree, Chinese yew, and native trees.
