Folks from areas with locally transmitted cases must report

People from areas with locally transmitted cases are required to report to their residential communities or hotels and companies within 12 hours of arriving in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, according to the latest notice issued by the Nantong Center for Disease Control and Prevention on Jan 14.

They are also required to register their information, as well as undergo nucleic acid tests and medical observation the moment they arrive in the city.

Nantong residents are being advised to avoid visiting areas with locally transmitted cases and if necessary, they need report to their residential communities and companies and take nucleic acid tests after returning to Nantong.

Nantong residents are also required to wear face masks, wash their hands frequently, ventilate their rooms regularly and maintain social distancing.

They are advised to monitor their own health. Should symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, hyposmia, hypogeusia, and diarrhea occur, people should visit the nearest fever clinic as soon as possible and declare their travel history to the doctor.
