The Nantong Landscaping Development Co Ltd has been making efforts to create a greener and more beautiful city in recent years.

Located in Nantong, China's Jiangsu province, the company has undertaken a host of measures to restore the ecological environment of the city's five mountains – Junshan, Jianshan, Langshan, Ma'an, and Huangni - as well as the areas along the section of the Yangtze River in Nantong since the city launched the campaign in 2017.

"We center around four key words, ecology, greenway, vitality and landscape, to construct a demonstration project in riverside landscaping," said Lu Chun, general manager of the company.

The Lanjiang greenway built by the company in Nantong has become one of the most beautiful in Jiangsu, and the landscaping project of the Nantong Botanical Garden is widely regarded as a landmark project in the city's ecological garden construction.

The company also has nursery gardens spanning 1,120 hectares, and plants grown by these nurseries have been widely used across the city.

Since the chrysanthemum was designated as Nantong's city flower in 1982, the landscaping company has been focused on the research of chrysanthemum varieties.

The China Chrysanthemum (Nantong) Breed Conservation Base operated by the company currently has more than 1,600 chrysanthemum varieties, some of which are used to decorate the city.
