Nantong launches direct train to Harbin

Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province launched direct train G2658 to Northeast China's Harbin on Jan 10.

The train departs from Nantong at 6:12 am and arrives in Harbin at 7:45 pm with a total trip time of 13 hours and 33 minutes.

The ticket price for second-class seats is 1,011.5 yuan ($158.93) per person, first-class seats are 1,635.5 yuan, and business-class seats are 3,164 yuan.

The train passes through Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Tianjin, Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang and there is some beautiful scenery along the route.

Scenic spots along the route include the Chinese Elk Park and national rare bird nature reserve in Yancheng, Huaguo Mountain in Lianyungang, Wusi Square in Qingdao, Baotu Spring in Jinan, Tianjin Eye, a ferris wheel in Tianjin, the Imperial Palace in Shenyang, and St. Sophia Cathedral in Harbin.
