Smart tech applied to vegetable cultivation in Chongchuan
A massive vegetable cultivation center, operated by Jiangsu Feiyue Agriculture Development Co Ltd, is located in the Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province. The base has a 13,000-square-meter advanced glasshouse and a 6,000-sq-m center for clean vegetables processing. It yields 25,000 tons of vegetables and processes 4,000 tons of clean vegetables a year, with an annual output value of 150 million yuan ($23.54 million). [Photo/ntfabu.com]
The greenhouses are equipped with internet-powered intelligent agricultural technology. The temperature and humidity can be adjusted immediately through computer programs, in accordance with the growth needs of different plants, which reduces labor costs while improving efficiency.
