An intelligent equipment manufacturing project broke ground in the City North Hi-Tech Zone in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 28.
Covering an area of about 3 hectares and receiving 1 billion yuan ($160 million) in investment, the project will be built by Jiangsu Keson Environment Technology Co Ltd, which is headquartered in Suzhou, and include a headquarters building, a research and development center for intelligent equipment systems, a manufacturing center for intelligent equipment, and a testing and exhibition center.
The project is expected to generate an output value of 1.2 billion yuan annually, and there will be no industrial waste gas or water. Solid wastes will be recycled and reused and have almost no impact on the environment.
