The 2021 Nantong Intangible Culture Heritage Creative Design Competition began on Nov 20.

The competition was sponsored by the Nantong Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center and the Nantong Folk Literature and Art Association.

Competition entries must highlight Nantong elements and involve derivative creations of the city's intangible cultural heritage items.

Participants should send the electronic versions of their works, complete with descriptions and the entry form (downloaded from the WeChat accounts Culture_Nantong and ntfywxpt) to ntfyzx@163.com before Dec 30.

The competition has a prize purse of 122,000 yuan ($19,000), which will be shared by 38 winners. The top three winners will each receive 10,000 yuan.

The winning works will be displayed at the Nantong Eminent Figures Museum from Feb 10 to 28, 2022.
