Rural tourism destinations in Qidong
Located at the interchange of the Yangtze River, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, Qidong, a county-level city administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province, boasts an abundance of tourism attractions and is an emerging tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region.
In recent years, the city has continued to promote the construction of a beautiful countryside and improve the living environment in rural areas. There are currently two provincial key rural tourism villages in Qidong.

Daxingzhen village, located in Huiping town, has managed to develop rural tourism revolving around viewing flowers in spring, picking peaches and pears in summer and autumn, enjoying leisure time in winter. It is home to the former residence of Shen Yigong, the Daziran Ecotourism Resort, the Yinxiang Shadi (Impression Sand) Leisure Farm and other scenic spots.

Lianxinggang village, located in Qidong's Yinyang town, is home to the Yuantuojiao Resort where people can go sightseeing and participate in sports and other activities. With the goal of building itself into a national resort, Yuantuojiao is striving to push forward the construction of the most beautiful coastline within its jurisdiction, the upgrading of its culture and tourism industries, and rural revitalization.
