Lakeside cabin a popular leisure destination in Nantong

Ten cabins besides Hudie Lake, which is also known as Butterfly Lake, in downtown Nantong have been upgraded and are open for booking during the upcoming National Day holiday, which starts on Oct 1.

Each of the cabins is decorated in traditional Chinese style and has a terrace offering a good view of the lake.

The cabins also have an array of facilities for both adults and children to have fun.

The Yulan Lake scenic area, where the cabins are located, offers a variety of choices for recreational activities, including sightseeing, fishing, catering, and drinking tea.

Yulan Lake has a water area of 8 hectares and has built professional fishing platforms, while Hudie Lake spans 1.6 hectares with sparkling waves.

The cabins are also close to the playground in Seyuan Garden, where recreational facilities like grass skiing, a bouncing castle, and a merry-go-round are available.

How to get there: Take Bus No 48, No 99 or No 616 and get off at Seyuan Garden Station

Self-driving visitors can enter from the parking lot at the northern gate of Seyuan Garden and park near the garden's western gate.
